The study aimed to investigate the effect of work motivation on innovative work behavior. To deepen the study's theories, the literature was reviewed. The study used the descriptive assessment and correlational research design. The study's respondents were all employees of the institution, from basic education through college. The data were gathered through validated research questionnaires. The study found that employees' work motivation and innovative work behavior were rated highly; however, there was no significant correlation between them. The study concluded that the variance of innovative work behavior was not attributed to work motivation. Therefore, the hypothesis is rejected. The study also recognizes its limitations due to its small population, and therefore, the results cannot be generalized. Further research is needed to include additional mediating variables that affect innovative work behavior.
