Abstract

The integration of technology in classroom instruction plays a vital role in enhancing teaching effectiveness and student engagement in the 21st-century learning environment. This study examined the difficulties encountered and strategies employed by public school teachers in integrating technology. This study used a qualitative descriptive design. Data were collected from fifteen teachers at Florentino Camaquin Integrated School through open-ended questionnaire and follow-up interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed key challenges, including limited access to resources, technical difficulties, lack of training and support, and time constraints. To address these, teachers employed strategies such as continuous professional development, self-directed learning, problem-solving, and the use of alternative teaching methods. The study concludes that, despite teachers’ adaptability, enhanced institutional support, better infrastructure, and ongoing training are needed to improve technology integration in classrooms.
